A letter from Joyce van der Riet to Dorothea Bleek, from Mrs North's residence in Oudtshoorn on 10 May 1932, concerning the copying of Bushman paintings in the region. Joyce van der Riet reports on a so far somewhat disappointing copying trip to Oudtshoorn. She describes the trip to Oudtshoorn, where they are staying with Mrs North. They have completed 14 sheets and visited three different lots of caves without finding anything exciting; in addition, the paintings are almost obliterated and similar to those near Grahamstown. She lists the locations they must still visit and locations they plan to visit after leaving Oudtshoorn.
