Newspaper collections made by the Bleek Lloyd family include the following: 75 opinion pieces written by Bleek between 1862 and 1866 for Het Volksblad; a collection of clippings from various newspapers about the diamond diggings in the 1860s and preserved by Lloyd in a scrap book and a collection of reviews of Specimens of Bushman Folklore, glued into a bound volume by Lucy Lloyd when she was living in Berlin. These are all included here. A newspaper clipping service assembled a large collection of general articles about rock art and "the Bushmen" for Dorothea Bleek, and a collection of other newspaper articles was also assembled in the 1990s for the Miscast Exhibition. Some of these are included here.
