A partly translated story about a man hunting gemsbok, sees a transformed lion and steps on his poisoned arrow, which pierces his foot, poisoning him.

1) p.8774v: |han≠kass'o heard this from his maternal grandfather (Tsatsi); names and details of the protagonist's relations given by |han≠kass'o; he does not know the man's name but seems to have known his brothers (the Streeps); they were `Mountain Bushmen' (see p.8772v), 2) This story is found in Book VIII-31
