<i>!yoa-ka-ttu, the Blue Crane, and the Girls of the early race. By /han≠kass'o (L VIII.-29. 8526-8554). </i>A creature called !yoa-ka-ttu (or Bad-smelling-mouth, a person of the Early Race) lies in the branches of the <i>!khi</i> tree. The Blue Crane and some girls (of the Early Race) sit in the shade of the same tree and !yoa-ka-ttu breaks wind. They leave, and !yoa-ka-ttu runs after the girls with his assegai. The Blue Crane protects them and is killed and rises up many times. Eventually !yoa-ka-ttu returns to his !khi tree and the Blue Crane returns home.
