<i>/kannan, who warned the people in vain of the approach of a Koranna war party, and was the only one who escaped. By /han≠kass'o (L VIII.-26. 8269-8285). </i>A woman called |kannan sees a Koranna commando and returns home to warn her people. An old man insists that she has seen little ostriches and |kannan says she knows she has seen real people, but the people do not believe her. The Korannas attack them and |kannan alone survives the slaughter of her people.
