Summary

A song of the Early Race in which the <i>!koa</i> (or Muishond) cuts off his own flesh with his knife and cooks and eats it, until his body grows small from all the cutting. He asks the west wind what to do.

1) p.7157v: |han≠kass'o heard this story from his mother (|xabbi-an), 2) p.7195v: see <i>Names of |han≠kass'o's relations</i>, 3) p.7196v: see <i>Names for certain winds</i>, 4) p.7204v: |han≠kass'o says his mother did not tell him what happened to the Muishond (the song ends inconclusively), but that he must have left his flesh alone and gone to a different place to hunt, 5) This story is found in Book VIII-13
