Summary

The ||<i>kerri</i> bird eats locusts and is thus called the locust-bird. They drive the locusts into the bushes, where the people collect them and roast them in a fire. The people thirst after collecting locusts and need water. The rain then breaks and the people go and hunt for springbok.
