<i>The Young man (of the early race) who was changed into a porcupine. He is said to be the brother of the girl in the preceding legend. Remarks regarding the porcupine follow. In the Katkop dialect, by Díä!kwãin (L V.-13. 5023-5039, and 14. 5040-5054).</i> A tale of the Early Race (or !khwe ||na ss'e !k'e) in which the brother of the maiden taken up in a whirlwind by the angry Rain is transformed into a Porcupine. Parents tell their children to avoid eating the back of the porcupine's neck and tail, because that is where the hail sits. Also about porcupines and the stars.
