Summary

Hunting the Porcupine, its habits and faculties (L V.-7. 4436-4456). The hunters sleep outside the porcupine's house so that it cannot smell them. The porcupine almost 'sees' with its nose, and the porcupine's eyes seem useless or 'sit for nothing' as it cannot see out of them.
