!nanni (XI)

|xue becomes a lizard, a <i>dui</i>, an Omuherero, a <i>shao</i> tree, a Makoba and <i>!naxane</i>, as the sun sets and rises. At one point |xue cries out and his wife takes hold of him. She gives her husband water and he dies, becoming a little bird. |xue's wife calls her mother and father to come and look at |xue, who becomes a little black ant. |xue's father-in-law seizes him and tries to burn him with fire. |xue leaps over the fire and his father-in-law chases him. |xue bites his father-in-law, who slaps him.
