|xue becomes an ostrich and goes into a rock. He becomes an owl and dies and flies eat him. |xue's wife carries him to her house. She fetches a large pot and puts him in the pot, pours water on him and builds a great fire, intending to cook him. |xue cries because he is afraid of the fire and his wife asks if it is her husband who cries. |xue's wife breaks the pot and |xue says 'I say |xue', revealing himself. |xue's wife cries.
