Notes
Page 4 of Dorothea Bleek's 'List of sites of rock paintings' transcript. Groetfontein farm belongs to Mr JM Hattingh, a Mr CH Venter is given for Elandsriver poort, a Mr McEwan for Evans Hope (formerly Rietfontein), a Mr Slabbert for Skelderkrantz farm, and simply 'Aster' in the case of so-called Simonead farm. The farm name 'Simonead' is likely a misspelling of Simonhead/Simon's Head (?).
