Page 1 of Dorothea Bleek's 'List of sites of rock paintings' transcript. The text refers to Mrs P. Buckton (associated with the Botanical Society of South Africa?) as the owner of a farm named Bushman's Hollow. No owner is mentioned here for the farm Riebeck's Fontein (formerly Langberg). (Mr?) R. P. Malan is the owner of the farm Monte Cristo, north of Porterville Road; a Mrs H. North is the owner of De Hoek; a D. Botha for Groenfontein; a J. Naorth (North?) for Nooitgedacht; an undisclosed van der Veen for 'Zoomplaats' (Boomplaats? [the name of 'another' farm in the Oudtshoorn District]); an H. le Roux for Bosman's Kloof; and in the George District, a T. C. Truter for Doorn River. The faint typewritten text is either due to a depleted ribbon or a faulty reprographic method (e.g., carbon copying), and the typewriter drops capital letters. A repetition of 'DIstrict' following Oudtshoorn is struck through and replaced with 'to [the] north of town[,] under mountains'.
