Notes

A German-language family magazine established by the Privy Councillor Simon Heinrich Sack Family Foundation (Hofrat Simon Heinrich Sack'sche Familienstiftung) in 1886 to track and provide updates on the vast Sack familiy and its descendants. Notably, it is one of the world's oldest family magazines. UCT's BC151 has issues from 1886 to 1906, and related publications (like 'Das Silberne Buch') by the same foundation at https://digitalbleeklloyd.uct.ac.za/metadata/genealogies/res-Genealogies/index.html. UCT's BC151 Bleek and Lloyd Collection has 37 total issues (1886-1906) of Die Taube, but only the earliest copy has been made available as an illustrative sample. The remaining 36 are digitised and available upon request.
