"'Bushman Folklore,' by the late W.H.I. Bleek, Ph.D., and L.C. Lloyd." This article in the "Cape Times" begins by describing how Lucy Lloyd has been engaged on the volume for many years and it is being eagerly awaited in ethnological circles. Describes Lloyd's continuation of Bleek's work after his death and stresses how they must have realised the vast ethnological importance of the work due to the fate of the Bushman race was sealed and that they'd soon be extinct. Recommends the volume as an introduction for the general reader to learn something of Bushman folklore and throws light on a race "unquestionably the most primitive known to modern science". Describes the folk stories in general terms as well as their categorisation in the book, then moves on to the illustrations and the original narrative printed in the Bushman tongue. Closes by praising the volume as "one of the most important contributions to ethnology and philology of recent years." Page numbered 7 in top right-hand corner of scrapbook.
