"Bushman Folklore. By the late W.H.I. Bleek and L.C. Lloyd. (Allen.) 21s." Article in "The Manchester Courier" details the work done mentioning the "amount of care and labour quite beyond ordinary standards" as well as the "adverse conditions" and "great exertion" surrounding Lloyd's attempts at publishing it. Describes the result as being of "great philological value" with the original text presented in Roman characters and many symbols to indicate pronunciation, while the tales are "entirely different" from European examples and "furnish the mental pabulum of the adult Bushman".
