"Bleek, W.H.I, and L.C. Lloyd. 'Bushman Folklore'. (George Allen)". A review in "The Pall Mall Gazette" explains how since the death of Dr Bleek, Lucy Lloyd has taken the work in hand "with great care" to reproduce phonetically 20 or more consonantal peculiarities and clicks of the Bushman tongue, to give literal English versions of the collected native tales and legends and to reproduce facsimiles of many native drawings. The number 2 has been handwritten in top right-hand corner. "Page 4" is handwritten on the clipping to the left of the date printed underneath the name of the newspaper.
