"Bushman Folklore." The "Irish Times" writer begins by comparing the physiognomy of the Bushmen to that of the Pygmies - both races being "members of a division of the human species" occupying the African Continent. They refer to the drawings in the publication as evidence that the Bushmen are of a "low type" and compares their appearance to that of the "Beast-folk" of a popular horror story. The writer briefly describes the contents and composition of the volume and alludes to Lloyd's hope that the publication will be of use to students of the Bushman language. The article concludes by summarising a "curious" tale involving a hunter's presentiment of the approach of game - then compares this "strange gift" to instinct possessed by animals. The name and date of the publication are hand-written at the bottom right of the article above the footer (containing publication details of Bushman Folklore). The scrapbook page features the handwritten number 13 in the top right-hand corner.
