"The Bushman Of The Wilds. Moon-Worshippers Who Eat Frogs and Leopards." This article from "The Times" reviews Dorothea Bleek's "The Naron, a Bushman tribe of the Central Kalahari." Bleek is described as having the honour of being the first contributor to a series of short studies on South Africa tribes, which the Cape Town University School of African Life and Language is to publish. Begins by stating that the publication is based on Bleek's 1921-22 philological research in Bushmanland. The review goes on to describe the content of the publication, which covers the "entire gamut of Naron life" encompassing the location of their huts, their diet and hunting practices, initiation ceremonies, dances and religious ceremonies (including moon worship), death practices, dress and trade, their folklore and other traditions, and their general character and temperament. Slip of paper pasted underneath clipping reads: "International Press Cutting Bureau, [illegible], High Holborn, London, W.C.I [?] Extract from The Times. Tanganyika. 28 Sep. 1928. [stamped]"
