"Review of Dr Schultze's Work." A loose page handwritten featuring many copy-editing corrections. Schultze's title is written at the top right in German. The publication concerns the results of his travels (it is the 3rd part) in parts of S.A.,1903-5, where he photographed and studied Bushmen and Hottentots. In this volume Bleek notes his results are carefully drawn up and charted for comparison. Bleek makes the point that although the study contains a lot of information re the Hottentots, there is not enough on the Bushmen for a true comparison: Schultz met few Bushmen and they weren't of the best type for comparison. She goes on to say Bushmen are not homogenous and show great variety re their physique, folklore, languages and customs - nor are most of them "pure" Bushmen as they dwell among others and approximate their neighbours. The review is incomplete as it ends mid-sentence.
