"Primitive Relics At Fish Hoek. Skeleton of Still Bay Man in a Cave. Evidence of Life Before the Strandlopers. Problems for Members of British Association." A "Cape Argus" article reports on a significant S.A. archaeological find that could help answer the question of how long man has lived in the Peninsula (fixing a date is a difficulty long facing S.A. archaeologists). In a cave in Fish Hoek a Mr Peers (and father) have discovered the first burial place of people from the Still Bay Period - predating the Strandlopers (previously the earliest remains found by researchers). But Mr Gill of the S.A. Museum states that despite this discovery little is known about primitive inhabitants of the area except the Bushmen and Strandlopers, although it isn't known precisely when Bushmen migrated south in Africa. Left-hand side of newspaper article is torn/text missing.
