"Comparative Vocabularies of Bushman Languages. By D.F. Bleek..." A summary/review in "Nature" of Bleek's volume in which she presents her work on eleven vocabularies using materials she collected. In it she elaborates on her preliminary classification of Bushman languages previously published in her volume on the Naron. The languages are divided into three groups of which six belong to the southern, three to the Northen and two to the central. Bleek also includes sections on race, culture and custom of each. Slip of paper pasted underneath clipping reads: "International Press-Cutting Bureau, 51, Red Lion St., London, W.C.I. Extract from Nature London. Date 10 Aug. 1929 [stamped]."
