"Frobenius 'Finds' Dispute. Removal for Study 'Not Unnatural'." In this "Cape Times: article Dorothea Bleek, Honorary Reader of Bushman Languages at CT University, comments on the Frobenius expedition's promise to copy rock paintings and deliver them to the Union. She states it is premature to create an outcry about their non-delivery as it will be a lengthy and laborious task to copy such a large collection of material as was gathered by the expedition (and taken away with them for study - the source of Frobenius' dispute with Southern Rhodesia). She is also quoted as saying it was not necessary to give Frobenius such a large grant as good rock painting replicas, equally valuable for scientific records, could be obtained for far less money. Slip of paper pasted underneath clipping reads: "International Press-Cutting Bureau, 110, Fleet Street, London, E.C.4. Extract from Cape Times, Cape Town. 9 Jul. 1931 [stamped]"
