"Hottentot and Bushman. A Summary of Accumulated Knowledge." The article from the "Cape Times" states that knowledge of and literature pertaining to the Bushmen has reached great proportions; however, the study of them and the Hottentots is very incomplete. Discusses Dr I. Schapera's publication 'The Khoisan Peoples of South Africa" and its analysis of the close relationship between Hottentots and Bushmen. Article concludes by stating how the Khoisan are in a special position due to "highly specialised" investigations by those such as Miss Bleek and Mrs Hoernle. Slip of paper pasted underneath clipping reads: "International Press-Cutting Bureau, 51, Red Lion St., London, W.C.I. Extract from The Star Johannesburg, S.A. Date 28 Jan 1931 [stamped]." Article is reproduced in the "Cape Argus", 31 Jan 1931.
