Dorothea Bleek (loose clippings ), clippings (D. Bleek's loose ), Hadzapi (D. Bleek "discovers" in Tanganyika )
"Dwarf Bushmen. Dwindling race in Tanganyika." The "Queenslander" reports that "Miss D. Black" [someone has underlined Bleek's name in pencil], "the best-known ethnologist in South Africa", has discovered an almost-extinct race of Bushmen in Tanganyika called the Hadzapi. She made the announcement in an address at the annual congress of the S.A. Association for the Advancement of Science. Slip of paper pasted underneath clipping reads: "International Press-Cutting Bureau, 110 Fleet Street, London, E.C.4. Extract from Queenslander Brisbane, Queensland. 24 Sep. 1931 [stamped]"
