"Babel in Business. Demand for Women Linguists." The writer, from the "Daily Telegraph", is disappointed that no women graduated the Oriental Languages class at Cambridge - given how there are woman world authorities like Miss Bleek "who maintains a family renown as an expert on SA Native dialects". Foreign languages - and female linguists - are in demand in firms developing commercial and trade enterprises at home and abroad and hold "a passport to successful paid appointments". Slip of paper pasted underneath clipping reads: "International Press-Cutting Bureau, 51, Red Lion St., London, W.C.I. ... Cutting from - The Daily Telegraph Date of issue 21 June 29 [stamped]."
