Improved Cape-England postal communication has prompted her to consider printing in England, with proofs sent to her for correction. She specifies they need Pica type, demy octavo size, with Bushman text and English translation on facing pages and special "signs" to be cast. Lucy encloses specimens to "try" and Wilhelm Bleek's sheet of the required signs and accents. She requests a quotation for printing a 500-page preliminary volume.
