Dr Meyer is asked in the letter to write to Gert van Wyk at Middlepost, where Diaǃkwain's sister Whai-ttu ("Griet Lynx" or "Springbok Skin") lived, asking him to find out whether ǃkwe-ten-taǁken had arrived safely and why she has not written to him.
