Correspondence
A letter in German from Wilhelm Bleek's cousin Ernst Haeckel to Lucy Lloyd, sent from the Zoological Institute at the University of Jena and dated 21 July 1905. Haeckel thanks Lucy warmly for sending George Stow's "The Native Races of South Africa" for the University's Library of Anthropology and congratulates her on the work's publication. In return, he sends a copy of his "Aus Insulinde: Malayische Reisebriefe" (1901). He adds that he briefly saw their nieces, Edith and Helma Bleek, and sends regards to Lucy's sisters.
