1. Jemima Lloyd visited Wilhelm's mother and family in Bonn in June-July 1862. The photographs, two carte de visite portraits - one seated and one standing - were taken at A. Hax studios in Bonn in July 1862. See Photographs and Portraits on this website. 2. Jemima describes her visit to Bonn (including the taking of photographs) to Wilhelm in the letter she began to write to him on 16 June 1862.
