Correspondence
An undated note by Jemima Lloyd sent with a letter to Wilhelm Bleek during her visit to England (April 1861-October 1862). It includes her companion Mrs Fisher's address in Kensington, London, and a request to the English dead letter office to forward the letter there if it were to miscarry (en route to Cape Town).

1. This note is very similar to one Jemima wrote on the reverse of a page in a letter to Wilhelm from Croydon on 16 March 1862. The paper used in the Croydon letter is also of a similar type. [See C8.16] It is possible this fragment was sent with one of Jemima's other letters to Wilhelm from this period in her English trip (from April 1861 - October 1862).
