Summary

A note from Jemima Lloyd to Wilhelm Bleek, 19 November 1862, days before their wedding. After thanking him for his note, she assures him nothing but an act of God will prevent their marriage on Saturday. On the subject of "business", she asks him to read Mr Reid's answers and send word via Tom about when he will visit after Reid, allowing 1.5 hours. She has everything written and ready for Reid's visit. She asks him not to be hurt if Lucy misunderstood his note - she will understand when she gets to know him better. In a postscript, Jemima is glad Wilhelm is better and says Loui, though weak, is in less pain, and they should manage the "needfuls" without getting ill.
