A letter from Professor Louis F Maingard to Dr KMF Scott, from Johannesburg, on 17 January 1950. Includes copy of his typewritten "Notes on the proofs of the Bushman dictionary". Maingard writes to Scott enquiring about her receipt of the parcel he sent containing the typescript of the Bushman Dictionary. He also encloses pages of the typescript that were left out of this parcel, as well as a copy of notes he wrote to Professor ZS Harris on the correcting of proofs - he hopes these will help with her proof corrections. He hopes to see Scott and her husband while visiting Fishhoek in February.
