Letter from Helen E Hause to KMF Scott, 4 October 1951, regarding the publication of Dorothea Bleek's Bushman Dictionary. Hause apologises for not acknowledging receipt of Scott's corrected MS. She is concerned by Scott's statement that a large proof section is missing and reports which sections she sent Scott. Hause also reports on their progress and when she will be ready to work on the Introduction. In terms of corrections, Hause assures Scott they shall try to make all of them but explains that they "cannot all be made so perfect in form as is desirable". She offers her sympathy for Scott's recent bereavement and apologises for bothering her at this time, and for the delay.
