Correspondence
A copy of a letter from Professor Zellig S Harris to Dorothea Bleek, 7 October 1948, regarding the publication of her "Comparative Dictionary of the Bushman Languages" by the American Oriental Society. Harris has received no response from Dorothea to his 16 July letter, sent with the master sheets of the first three sections of her dictionary for proofreading. He would appreciate hearing whether they arrived and when they will be returned. He reassures Dorothea that the printed pages make a better aesthetic impression than the sheets she was sent and promotes the advantages of the machine over straight printing. He also briefly explains the process.
