She describes the book's subject and contents in detail, including its structure and her use/representation of click symbols. She also indicates her type requirements. The letter/outline has several page samples as enclosures, including a draft entitled "Comparative Dictionary of Bushman Languages", "Symbols used in both parts of the dictionary" and "Number of typed pages of each letter or click". Some of these are annotated. There is also a sample page of Bushman-English text. Dorothea has made numerous notes throughout.
