Schapera informs Dorothea that the University Council has approved the Editorial Board's recommendation that she be granted £250 towards the publication of "A Comparative Dictionary of the Bushman Languages". He describes the conditions of the grant and asks whether she wants Lovedale to publish the book and, if not, recommends she discuss publication with L Marquard, the SA representative of Oxford University Press, as publication standards are higher in the UK.
