Dorothea informs Schapera of her award of a £500 Government Research Grant towards the publication of "A Comparative Dictionary of the Bushman Languages". She quotes the full award letter. Dorothea asks Schapera if his Committee would still be able to contribute the £250 they voted to grant towards her publication last year. If the amount is not approved by the University Council, she needs to know as soon as possible so she can apply elsewhere.
