Letter from Robert HW Shepherd of Lovedale Press to Dr Isaac Schapera, 12 December 1944, regarding the publication of Dorothea Bleek's "A Comparative Dictionary of the Bushman Languages". Shepherd responds to Schapera's letter of enquiry, informing him that the dictionary will present them with several problems and they will not be able to fit it in in 1945. They would be able to publish it, though. Shepherd estimates its cost at about £1000, not including Dorothea's special type suggestions for the symbols (clicks).
