Dorothea was instructed by the National Research Council and Board to pay them 2/3 of her royalties (after her costs for "More Rock Paintings in South Africa" were paid off) in fulfilment of her research grant conditions. 2. The SA Council for Educational, Sociological and Humanistic Research took over the functions of the National Research Council and Board and is part of the Union Department of Education.
