1. Although this note reads "Queries from Printer" it has been marked [in pencil by UCT Libraries?] with the same date as Dorothea Bleek's letter to Methuen. However, as these are the printer's queries, they were in all likelihood sent to Dorothea with the copy proofs, which were dispatched on the same day as Methuen's letter of 25 October 1939.
