A letter [copy?] from Dorothea Bleek to the Secretary of the Research Grant Board, 12 March 1938. Dorothea applied for a grant to publish a further set of Bushman paintings (the proposed "More Rock Paintings in South Africa", featuring copies made by the van der Riet sisters). She encloses Methuen's estimate and other letters concerning the book's publication to the Board in fulfilment of their request for a detailed scheme of the proposed book in its consideration of the grant. Dorothea explains that the Methuen estimate is a lower one than the first she received, as she has omitted several of the pictures to lower the initially very high estimate.
