Molly van der Riet informs Dorothea they have received the plates and will be able to fill in the text descriptions required for each; Joyce will travel from Port Elizabeth so they can do so. Van der Riet asks if they may have the letters they wrote to Dorothea during copying so they can consult them; they will also revisit the nearby caves if necessary.
