A typewritten [copy?] letter from Dorothea Bleek to Joyce Ginn (née van der Riet) and Molly van der Riet, 4 January 1939, regarding the publication of their Bushman painting copies in More Rock Paintings in South Africa (by Methuen). Dorothea informs them that only 1/3 of their collection can be included, and she has tried to represent each site. She is sending the numbered plates, a list of plates and places and their map. Dorothea asks them to write text for the plates she has not completed, specifying she wants locality, site and a description. She offers £20 for the work, is writing the introduction herself and their names will appear in the book. The letter includes photographs taken by the van der Riets and a record of Dorothea's payment for mileage and photographs from the Belmont and Lyndoch trips.
