Correspondence
A letter from Joyce van der Riet to Dorothea Bleek, from JC Truter's residence in Doorn River on 22 May 1932, concerning the copying of Bushman paintings. Van der Riet reports on copying paintings at Erelsjact [?] and Misgund - she describes the latter, which are more interesting. They took some photographs but most were of disappointing quality. The painting copies will be sent to Dorothea the next day or day after. Van der Riet asks Dorothea when they must go to Mossel Bay and Knysna to copy there; also if they must go to Graaff-Reinet. They are doing the Alicedale paintings in the next few days. Van der Riet has written out the costs of the Oudtshoorn/Doorn River/Misgund trip below her signature.
