Correspondence
A letter from Joyce van der Riet to Dorothea Bleek, from Grahamstown on 7 April 1932, concerning the copying of Bushman paintings in the region. Joyce van der Riet reports asking John Hewitt at the Albany Museum about the number of groups of paintings still to be copied and reports what he told her. In response to a question Dorothea has obviously asked regarding how much time copying takes and their possible date of completion, van der Riet gives this information and informs her that, depending on how quickly she wants them done and how far afield they must go, they are prepared to give up their other work. In closing, van der Riet mentions a few commitments she/they have coming up and that she is sending some photographs of the Broxley [?] paintings.
