Summary

A letter from Wilhelm Bleek to Jemima Lloyd, sent from Cape Town and dated 20 September 1862. Wilhelm writes of his improved health and confidence regarding the future. He thinks he has found them a house to rent in New Street near the National Public (and Grey) Library. He reports that although he hasn't received a reply to a second letter he sent to Rev. Lloyd, Lucy has told him her father sees the marriage in a satisfactory light. He also discusses the advisability of Jemima visiting Natal before their wedding and compares her appearance in two different photographs she sent to him.
