Correspondence
A letter from Jemima Bleek to Ernst Haeckel sent from Bonn on 20 February 1891. Jemima congratulates Haeckel on his daughter Elizabeth's engagement and recalls their meeting the previous summer. She reports that Hermann and Sophie Bleek are moving temporarily while their new house is completed and Gustchen [?] remains in Strassburg. She also worries Tante Bertha feels Dr Quincke's loss deeply. Jemima adds that her half-sister Isabella is returning to South Africa to help her married sister and hopes the change and move to her "native climate" may improve her health.
