Lucy Lloyd's transcription of a letter in Italian sent by Felice Finzi to Wilhelm Bleek and dated 14 February 1872. Finzi asks if his previous letter and "Archivio" parts were lost or if Bleek has simply been too busy to reply, noting he has heard only from Lucy Lloyd and not Bleek since July 1871. He repeats his request for photographs and language notes on the Southern African "savage" to publish in the Archivio; he also wants to make Bleek's life's work known. He asks for confirmation about the missing items and sends greetings to Bleek and his "interpreter".
