Summary

A letter in Italian from Felice Finzi to Wilhelm Bleek, sent from Italy on 13 November 1870. Finzi replies to Bleek's March letter, saying he could not locate the requested books in Rome but suggesting an alternative title. He reports on a new field of research, as well as a publication with Professor Bantezorna [Mantegazza?] and promises Bleek a copy. He asks Bleek to send African colonial journals and to contribute to the Archivio, where Finzi's work on Australasian languages is ready for publication. He inquires about Bleek's European travel plans, asks if his pamphlets arrived and requests Bleek's portrait in exchange for his own. He closes by promising to analyse earlier notes and hopes for continued correspondence. Includes an envelope addressed to Finzi in Correggio, Italy.
